Mental health at work has become an increasingly important issue, especially in light of the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic. A recent global survey conducted by Ipsos shed light on the state of mental health in Peru, revealing some concerning statistics.
According to the survey, 58% of Peruvians stated that they are unable to go to work when they experience stress for an extended period of time. This highlights the need for greater awareness and support for mental health in the workplace.
In addition to creating a work culture that prioritizes mental health, implementing simple self-care routines can also make a significant difference. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, personalizing it with personal objects, and establishing a healthy daily routine can all help alleviate stress and improve emotional well-being.
Practicing relaxation techniques such as deep breathing can be effective in combating stress and promoting a sense of calm. Taking regular breaks throughout the workday, engaging in physical activity, and staying hydrated are also important factors in maintaining mental well-being at work.
By addressing mental health issues in the workplace and implementing strategies to support employees, we can create a healthier and more productive work environment for all.
