A team at the University of Cincinnati is working on an app that uses artificial intelligence to tell you if a date is going well or not.

Pretty soon, you’ll have a new way to ditch someone in the middle of a bad date.  Tell them,  “Sorry, but an app on my phone says the spark just isn’t there.”  Basically, it pairs with wearable technology like your apple watch and it monitors things like heart rate, breathing, and how much you’re sweating.  It can tell in real time whether you’re actually engaged in a conversation, or just faking it.   It can give you feedback on your own quirks too.  For example, it can tell you if the other person finds you boring.   As of right now, the app isn’t ready for wide release yet, because it’s not accurate enough.
