Not long after Stassi Schroeder and husband Beau Clark rushed their daughter to the emergency room after the couple noticed the toddler was having trouble breathing, the Vanderpump Rules stars are now giving fans an update.

Schroeder shared a photo on her Instagram Story telling fans of their "long scary day at the hospital."

"We brought her in after she was rapidly aggressively breathing — doctors think it's 'reactive airways disease' (which is essentially pediatric asthma) on top of a virus," she explained. "She's such a little soldier."

"Just got home," Clark wrote on his Instagram Story. "6 hours at the hospital. She's improved slightly with her breathing, but it's still hard. Her little belly breathing is what everyone was worried about. So she's going to be on albuterol for the next two days with this breathing thing. But we might have to go back tonight if she gets worse again. For now she's got an ice cream and is on the couch watching Frozen."

On Monday, the parents — who are expecting their second child — brought 2-year-old Hartford to the hospital around 6 a.m. Monday morning, Clark revealed via Instagram.

"Soooo last night she was breathing very fast and hard. Looked like when people start to turn, in those zombie movies," the former reality star wrote on his Instagram Story.

Clark also elaborated on his toddler's treatment, saying that she was on the second round of using a "breathing face thing machine" — something that will "open her lungs up more."

"[It's] possibly high asthma and lots of mucus in her lungs and a high fever," Clark wrote. "Now we're just waiting, hoping this works the second time."

The soon-to-be father-of-two finished his post by adding that he will update fans on the situation when he and Schroeder learn more.

"It's super scary seeing your kid like this," Clark concluded.

Schroeder and Clark announced in March that they are expecting their second child. On an episode of their parenting podcast, "The Good The Bad The Baby," the couple revealed that they are having a baby boy.
