Getting infected with the SARs-CoV-2 infection can take a terrible toll on your body. Although some people remain asymptomatic, there are those who develop mild, moderate to severe illness. Some even experience symptoms long after their recovery. This is what experts define as long COVID or post COVID syndrome. People who suffer from this condition are often termed as long haulers.

Long COVID symptoms are wide-ranging. From cough, fatigue to shortness of breath and an impaired sense of smell and taste, one may experience different symptoms. According to the UK's National Health Services (NHS), brain fog is also one of the common illnesses reported by some people recovering from coronavirus. "Symptoms may vary and change over time," the health body adds.
