CEDAR HILL, Texas— WAC Lighting celebrated the opening of its new 140,000 square-foot warehousing and distribution facility in Cedar Hill, Texas, with a ribbon cutting ceremony last week. The new facility relieves the stress on its existing warehouses and supports future growth, the company said.
The warehouse, which began shipping in April, sits between WAC’s Ontario, Calif., warehouse and the Lithia Springs, Ga., warehouse, both which run at 100% capacity, WAC said. It also gives WAC a more central location to service customers, especially Quick-Turn requirements for same day/next day shipping.
Attending the event from WAC were Shelley Wald, Co-CEO, Dirk Wald, Co-CEO, Jenifer Walsh, CMO, Michael Macaluso, director of operations, and Brian Davis, warehouse manager, as well as several local officials.
