The sad news of his death was shared by his owner, Kathy, who adopted him when he was only one year old and created an Instagram account for him in 2015. “Do not be sad, please remember the joy that Baltse brought to the world. According to the latest reports shared by his owner on her Instagram account, Chims, whose gender is actually female, was in an extremely difficult health situation.

On May 10, 2021, the owner reported that Baltze developed symptoms such as vomiting and diarrhea, and was diagnosed with pancreatitis on the 13th of the same month. Despite a successful recovery, due to illness, she had to amputate her finger. During the most critical months, her owner noted that “she is still hungry and energetic, but no longer as active as before.”
