Green Bay Packers quarterback Sean Clifford (8) is shown during organized team activities Tuesday, May 23, 2023 in Green Bay, Wis.

The Green Bay Packers have been diving headfirst into the chaos and camaraderie of training camp for nearly two weeks, and we’ve already gathered enough intel to fill Lambeau Field’s cheesehead-adorned bleachers. But hang onto your cheese curds, because the playbook is about to get even spicier with joint practices and those tantalizing preseason showdowns just around the corner.

So far, Green Bay has had nine training camp practices of varying speed and intensity. And just when we thought it was time for a breath, the Packers have a rendezvous with the Cincinnati Bengals for a joint practice. Following a light practice on Monday, they’ll have an off day on Tuesday before flying to Cincinnati for a joint practice on Wednesday. And if that doesn’t quench your football thirst, they’ll have a Friday night showdown against the Bengals in a preseason extravaganza.

Now, as we catch our collective breath and wipe the metaphorical sweat from our brows, it’s time for a quick look at each position group’s trials and triumphs, sifting through the camp ruckus to unearth the biggest revelations–good or bad–after the first two weeks of camp.

Here are the biggest revelations for the Green Bay Packers at each position group after the first two weeks of training camp.

Quarterback: Sean Clifford

This training camp showdown kicked off with a throwdown between Sean Clifford and Danny Etling, vying for the coveted backup quarterback spot. And let me tell you, Clifford’s been cooking up some surprises –he’s shown off unexpected arm strength to go along with his high football I.Q.
