An insight into Manchester United’s plans for 2022/23 was recently provided.
Martial returned to Manchester United this summer after a very disappointing loan spell with Sevilla.
Before that, the Frenchman was very disappointed when he was assigned to lead the United streak under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
As a result, it seemed clear that Martial would be moving this summer to make room for a new striker or two.

However, Martial has since scored three goals in three pre-season games, and as we know, pre-season is a real test of how the team performs in the upcoming campaign.
Now, reports from the Daily Mail have confirmed that Martial will remain at the club this summer, with Eric ten Hag ruling out the possibility of a sale.
It is added that even if Cristiano Ronaldo returns to training next week, Martial will still start the 2022/23 season at the top of United:
“Martial returned to United this summer and suddenly went from an outcast to the number 1 striker in the team on his tour of Thailand and Australia.
From appearing as if he were on his way, the 26-year-old was pinned to stay after Erik Ten Hag ruled out the possibility of a sale.
“Even if Ronaldo returns to training next week – which seems unlikely – Martial is ready to start the season in advance by taking his second chance with both hands.”
Cristiano Ronaldo threw a cloud over this tour but Anthony Martial was a breath of fresh air
