JEDDAH — Saudi citizens Ghaleb Al-Shammari, Eid Al-Shammari and Saad Al-Mutairi saved an Azerbaijani who fainted following a cardiac arrest. The three young Saudis, who were visiting the country, performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on the Azerbaijani until his pulse and breathing gradually returned.
Saudi Ambassador in Azerbaijan Dr. Hamad bin Abdullah bin Khudair and the embassy staff received the Saudis. He praised the humanitarian nature of the young men and thanked them for presenting an honorable image of the Saudi citizen abroad while helping the distressed Azerbaijani.
Azerbaijanis who witnessed the incident also praised the courage of the young Saudis who acted quickly to save the victim.
