A Thunderstorm Asthma advice has been issued for areas including Geelong and the Surf Coast.
The Victorian Health Department says the risk is listed as ‘high’ for the Central, West and South Gippsland districts.
It can be triggered by high amounts of grass pollen and storms, and there is a chance people may develop asthma symptoms over a short period of time.

Local asthma sufferers are being advised to carry their medication with them at all times.
Heath and emergency services are keeping a close on the situation and say they are ready to respond.
Authorities are encouraging people to call Triple Zero (000) if someone is not breathing, if their asthma become worse or is not improving.
