Bengal News: Former West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharya has been admitted to the hospital due to breathing problem. Due to difficulty in breathing on Saturday afternoon, his physical problems suddenly increased. He has been admitted to the ICU of Woodlands Hospital in Kolkata. After getting information about Buddhadeb Bhattacharya’s condition, an ambulance was sent from Woodlands to the former chief minister’s house on Palm Avenue. Medical officers and paramedics arrived on Palm Avenue in an ambulance and were brought to the hospital.

Former Chief Minister is ill for a long time

Buddhadeb Bhattacharya has been suffering from COPD for a long time. Age is also around 80. He has been admitted to cabin number 516 of Woodlands Hospital. Doctors believe that the condition of the former Chief Minister of the state is very critical due to the decrease in the level of oxygen and potassium in the blood. Initially, some blood tests of Buddhadev Bhattacharya will be done.

Please tell that on May 18, 2021, the former Chief Minister got infected with Corona virus. He was kept in home isolation at home and treatment was started, as Buddhadeb Bhattacharya was absolutely reluctant to go to the hospital. At the same time, his wife had also become Covid positive.

After that he was admitted to the hospital and treatment was started. After that he recovered and returned home. Suddenly the level of oxygen in the body of the former Chief Minister became very low. After which he was admitted to Woodlands Hospital.

Hospitalized due to deteriorating condition

There the treatment started under the supervision of Dr. Kaushik Chakraborty, Dhruv Bhattacharya, Soutik Panda. Later, a 5-member medical board was constituted for him. For the last few days, the former Chief Minister’s illness has increased again.

He was undergoing treatment at home for the last three days. The doctor made arrangements for treatment at home. But from eleven in the morning I was having difficulty in breathing. CPM state secretary Mohammad Salim said that the Alimuddin leadership has decided to send him to the hospital without taking any risk.

The governor wished for a speedy recovery

Meanwhile, Governor CV Anand Bose has wished former Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharya a speedy recovery. At the same time, CM Mamta Banerjee is going to the hospital to see former Chief Minister Buddhadev Bhattacharya.
