The Guardian, a UK newspaper, shares tips to prevent snoring, which affects 45% of adults occasionally and 25% habitually.

These include opening up the nostrils with saltwater spray, avoiding smoking and reducing alcohol consumption, sleeping with the mouth closed, controlling weight gain to avoid pressure on the airway, sleeping on one’s side, checking breathing patterns, and undergoing dental checks to correct misaligned teeth.

Snoring can affect not only the individual’s health but also their relationship with their partner.
