Javon Bea Hospital–Riverside
Mercyhealth's Javon Bea Hospital and Physician Clinic–Riverside, 8201 E. Riverside Blvd., Rockford, IL, opened in January 2019 and is designated by the State of Illinois as a Level III Reginal Perinatal Center for the 11-county northern Illinois region, including Rockford and the surrounding area. Mercyhealth also provides services to three southern Wisconsin counties. This designation is the highest in the state, reflecting Mercyhealth’s specialized expertise and comprehensive resources to treat the smallest and sickest babies.
With its location on the I-90 interstate at the Riverside exit, the hospital and clinic provide regional access to critical tertiary level services and ensures a robust volume and variety of patients for the residents’ clinical training. This $505 million project is the largest in Rockford history.
Mercyhealth Alpine
Mercyhealth Alpine, 7702 N. Alpine Road, Loves Park, IL, is home to the Mercyhealth Family Medicine Residency Program–Rockford. Resident physicians began practicing at this location in July 2019. The residents provide a full array of health care services to the community. As family medicine physicians, they care for people at every stage of life—from infants to the elderly.

Mercyhealth Physician Clinic–Rockton, 2350 N. Rockton Ave., Rockford, provides services including Allergy, Diabetes and nutrition, Endocrinology, Family medicine, Gastroenterology, General surgery, Laboratory, Ophthalmology, Optometry, Orthopedics–adult and pediatric, Pediatrics, Podiatry, Pulmonary rehabilitation, Pulmonology, Rheumatology, Sports medicine and Trauma surgery.
