The recently announced program features a 350-hour curriculum taught by founder Michael Stone and his team of veteran facilitators, who have over 40 years of combined experience in leading breathing workshops.
Applicants will be instructed on how to facilitate workshops with NeuroDynamic Breathwork, a distinctive, non-directive modality that was created by Stone and has roots in neuroscience. NeuroDynamic Institute explains that during the breathing process, CO2 is released from the body, prompting physiological changes in the brain; with proper guidance, these changes can exert a positive psychological influence on the breather. In addition to learning the foundations of this practice, students will receive significant coaching on personal development and self-awareness so that their emotions will not affect the workshops they facilitate.
The program also features seminars from guest speakers Kylea Taylor and Brack Jefferys, who will educate students on InnerEthics and Spiritual Emergence, respectively. These special classes will teach students about the ethics of breathwork, how to work with unique interpersonal dynamics, and how to distinguish between spiritual emergency and mental illness. Furthermore, all course participants will have access to a comprehensive list of legal documents that are required to start a business; this component of the program includes professional advice on developing a client base, effective space setup, facilitating under challenging circumstances, and other key aspects of entrepreneurship.
