Sapta Shakti Command commemorated International Day of Yoga 2023 with tremendous enthusiasm on 21 June, wherein numerous productive Yoga sessions were held at various Military Stations of Sapta Shakti Command.
In addition, the run up to Yoga Day witnessed a series of Yoga events at forward locations as well as military cantonments throughout the month of May and June to encourage healthy lifestyle and promote holistic wellbeing.
The Yoga Day commemoration witnessed an overwhelming response from the members of the Armed Forces and their families running into 20 thousand plus participants over a period of 17 days. The Yoga Sessions were led by experienced and certified Yoga Instructors who guided participants through various postures, breathing exercises and meditation techniques.

In addition to the Military Stations, the sessions were also conducted at historic locations like the Bathinda Fort, Firoz Shah Complex, Asigarh Fort etc, thereby adding a touch of heritage and spirituality to the event. These iconic locations provided a serene atmosphere for the participants to connect with their inner-selves and immerse themselves in the ancient practice of Yoga.
