Hawaii Yoga Institute has announced that it is now accepting applications for its summer and fall 2022 courses. The Honolulu-based institute offers training programs for new and experienced yoga instructors.

Courses are taught with a mix of permanent faculty as well as guest teachers. The diverse group uses their varied expertise and life experiences to educate and empower their students to improve the mental, physical, and spiritual health of their communities.
Hawaii Yoga Institute offers three main teaching streams. The first is the 200-hour Foundational Yoga Teacher Training. Taught over several weeks, this course will provide students with the essential knowledge for teaching yoga to others.
Experienced instructors can sign up for the institute’s 300-hour Advanced Training. This course will enable students to refine their teaching methods, develop a deeper understanding of teaching different facets of yoga and cultivate exemplary self-awareness skills.
The institute also offers continuing education opportunities based on the areas of expertise of their current guest faculty. Upcoming courses cover topics like Ayurvedic medicine, advanced breathing and posture workshops.
