This update will help yoga practitioners find world-class courses to become an instructor or further develop their own teaching style.

Courses are taught with a mix of permanent faculty as well as guest teachers. The diverse group uses their varied expertise and life experiences to educate and empower their students to improve the mental, physical, and spiritual health of their communities.

Hawaii Yoga Institute offers three main teaching streams. The first is the 200-hour Foundational Yoga Teacher Training. Taught over several weeks, this course will provide students with the essential knowledge for teaching yoga to others.

Experienced instructors can sign up for the institute’s 300-hour Advanced Training. This course will enable students to refine their teaching methods, develop a deeper understanding of teaching different facets of yoga and cultivate exemplary self-awareness skills.

The institute also offers continuing education opportunities based on the areas of expertise of their current guest faculty. Upcoming courses cover topics like Ayurvedic medicine, advanced breathing and posture workshops.

For the first time in two years, the Hawaii Yoga Institute is able to offer its courses in-person. The immersive nature of the courses gives students a unique opportunity to unplug from their daily lives and grow their self-awareness alongside a dedicated group of like-minded people.

Since first opening its doors, Hawaii Yoga Institute has become a leading center for continuing education for yoga instructors. With this latest announcement, the institute reaffirms its commitment to giving its students the training they need to strengthen and deepen their yoga practice.

A spokesperson for the company said: “All of us at Hawaii Yoga Institute are excited to announce that we have started accepting applications for our summer and fall 2022 courses. We hope to gather a diverse and supportive group for our upcoming courses.”
