WESTERLY — A program, Learn How To Save A Life, will offer overdose response training at the United, 5 Canal St., on Monday, Feb. 26, at 5:30 p.m. Attendees will learn how to recognize and respond to an opioid-involved breathing emergency, including considerations with fentanyl.
Naloxone will be distributed at the event at no cost. The program is sponsored by the Ocean Community Chamber of Commerce, Westerly Police Department, University of Rhode Island First Responder Program, and Ray of Hope.
