These individuals stand at the pinnacle of their craft and possess immense power in their own right. However, it is fun to rank the Hashiras based on their power levels, so we're going to do just that.

9 Shinobu Kocho: Insect Hashira

It's hard to classify any of these powerhouses as weak. However, the Insect Hashira is a bit of a unique case. She doesn't have the same physical prowess that her peers share. Instead, she relied on her poisoned blade and specialized breathing style that increased her speed.

She is definitely the weakest in physical prowess, but she makes up for it with her versatile fighting style and nimble movement abilities. Because of her role in training Tanjiro and his friends, she is well-loved in the community.

8 Tengen Uzui: Sound Hashira

Uzui is definitely slightly behind the other Hashiras in terms of strength. In one of the best episodes in the anime so far, he struggles to win a fight against the Upper Six Demon, Gyutaro, even with the help of Tanjiro and his companions.

That being said, his physical strength, stamina, swordsmanship, and interesting breathing techniques make him a valuable addition to the Hashira.

7 Obanai Iguro: Serpent Hashira

Obanai Iguro is a hot-headed individual with a penchant for violence. He has a biting tone and doesn't care about the opinion of others. His fighting style revolves around flexibility and helps him stand out from the crowd. He also has a serpent around him at all times, which makes him even more intimidating.

The Serpent Hashira is said to be at least at the same level as the Giyu, the Water Hashira. His dynamic fighting style, intense personality, and interesting character design make him a fan favorite.

6 Mitsuri Kanroji: Love Hashira

Bellying the cute and delicate appearance of Mitsuri is a muscle density that's far above a normal human's. This allows her to have a seemingly small stature but still have strength rivaling any of her peers, even surpassing many of them.

She uses a unique breathing style called Love breathing, which is based on the Flame breathing style. Mitsuri joined the Hashiras to eradicate demons and find a suitable husband, someone who is stronger than her. She is quite close to the Serpent Hashira.

5 Giyu Tomioka: Water Hashira

Giyu is one of the major characters in the series. He has the most screen time out of all the Hashiras and is loved by fans. His cool and calm demeanor makes him one of the coolest characters in the series.

He is the first Hashira introduced to the audience when he takes Tanjiro to his master for training. He also utilizes the same Water breathing style as Tanjiro because they both trained under the same master.

4 Kyojuro Rengoku: Fire Hashira

Kyojuro Rengoku is a fiery, gentle, and eccentric individual. He made his first major appearance during the movie Mugen Train and wowed the audience with his Fire breathing. He goes toe to toe with the Upper-Rank Three, Akaza, in the movie.

The Rank Three demon was so impressed that he even offered to turn Rengoku into a demon so that they could live together forever and hone their skills to an even higher degree. Of course, Rengoku refuses.

3 Muichiro Tokito: Mist Hashira

The Mist Hashira is air-headed and often forgets where he is or what he's doing. He became a Hashira when he was just 14 years old, showing his prodigal talent. In terms of future prospects, Tokito is definitely number one.

Muichiro Tokito was instrumental in defeating the Upper-Rank One Demon, Kokushibo, and easily overwhelmed Gyokko during the Swordsmith village arc. His strength is undeniable, even if he isn't mentally present most of the time.

2 Sanemi Shinazugawa: Wind Hashira

Sanemi is a very brash and hot-headed character who holds other Demon Slayers to a ridiculously high standard that he himself follows as well. He was one of the characters who fought the Upper-Rank One in the manga alongside Gyomi and Muichiro.

This eclectic individual relies on his Wind breathing style. According to the Upper-Rank One demon, he has reached his peak in terms of physical prowess.

1 Gyomi Himejima: Stone Hashira

Gyomi Himejima is the strongest Hashira in the series. He has an enhanced sense of hearing as he has lost his sight. The pious individual has reached the peak of his physical capabilities and continues to strive to further heights.

According to the Upper-Rank One demon, Gyomi Himejima is the strongest fighter he has come across in three hundred years.
