In a new Twitter post, Andrew Tate claimed he could have been ‘poisoned’ as he showed his “swollen face” and stated that his “skin is on fire”.
The British-US former professional kickboxer and influencer made the claim in a series of now-removed tweets on his profile on Thursday, April 27.
In the original post, Tate stated that he experienced several symptoms after drinking only water and coffee earlier in the day. His team shared an update about Tate’s health condition but all of the influencer’s original posts have since been taken down.

Andrew Tate claims he could have been ‘poisoned’
Taking to his Twitter account on Thursday, Tate claimed that he could have been “poisoned” after experiencing symptoms that he stated could be down to “some sort of severe reaction or poison”.
In a video shared on his account (as reported by the US Sun), the influencer showed his “swollen face”, and red skin and appeared to have trouble breathing properly.
“Face swollen. Blood pressure is through the roof,” Tate wrote in the now-deleted social media post. “Skin [is] on fire. Hard to breathe. Some sort of severe reaction or poison. Only had coffee and water so far today. All appeared in the last 5mins.”
In the now-deleted video, Tate showed what appeared to be a red rash on his back and other parts of his body, and tweeted that he was “gathering chi”.
Update from Tate’s team
In another tweet, one of Tate’s team members stated that he doesn’t have any allergies and that the influencer had water and coffee earlier in the day.
“Andrew is not allergic to anything,” the post read. “This has never happened before. Has only had water and coffee today.
“Either an insect bite or some matrix attack insanity in his bottled water. He’s refusing doctors and is focusing on tea and breathing. Will keep you all updated.”
“Andrew’s fine,” another update, which was also deleted, read on Tate’s Twitter (as reported by LADBible). “Says that pain is part of life. He says the doctor will inject him with ‘who knows what’ and kill him.
“He’s in [a] lotus position and drinking tea. As long as he can breathe he refuses medical attention – so far so good. The question is where this came from.”
The social media posts have been deleted
The video and tweets were originally posted on Tate’s Twitter profile on Thursday, April 27. At the time of writing, they have been removed without any explanation.
Tate or anyone else from his team hasn’t come forward with a statement or further update at the time of publication.
