The Legend of Korra may not have the laser-tight focus on martial arts that Avatar: The Last Airbender does, but it provided fans with a cast of characters that were flexible and powerful. Korra, Mako, Bolin, and Asami were all forced to continuously adapt their skills as the world around them changed at an alarming pace.
Adaptability will never be as visually engaging as a mastery of martial arts or weapons combat, but it is still worthy of appreciation. Thanks to the time they spent adapting to new settings and conflicts in canon, the cast of TLoK would have no trouble mastering a breathing technique and fitting into the world of Demon Slayer.

10 Korra’s Strength Goes Beyond The Legend Of Korra’s Power System
Unlike Avatar Aang, there is a ruthlessness behind Korra's actions that cannot be ignored. To prove this point, all fans have to do is look at her bending habits. The Avatar is able to bend all four elements, yet Korra relies primarily on one.
By relying on firebending over the other three, Korra proved that she is not above harming her foes when faced with conflict. This conviction would prove her well when faced with the demons that terrorize the world of Demon Slayer. She may even have the skill to be the Flame Hashira.
9 Zhu Li’s Skill Are Hidden, But Still Formidable
Throughout the majority of Zhu Li's time onscreen, she is relegated to the background in order to make space for Varrick's oversized ego. This allows for one of the most entertaining characters in TLoK to express himself freely, but it also stops Zhu Li from showing off her skills.
When Zhu Li finally gets the chance to step out of Varrick's shadow in the 4th season of The Legend of Korra, she proves just how skilled she is. These skills include an impressive work ethic and the ability to operate behind the scenes. These traits alone make Zhu Li a prime candidate for the Demon Slayer Corps.
8 Bolin Would Add Some Levity To The World Of Demon Slayer
Though Bolin originally presented himself as a scatterbrained fanboy, he evolved into one of the most reliable and focused characters in the entire show. His character arc might even remind some viewers of Tanjiro Kamado's training arc under the former Water Hashira Sakonji Urokodaki.
Bolin is the definition of a diamond in the rough. When forced to withstand extreme pressure, the young earthbender is always able to adapt his skills in order to overcome the obstacles set in front of him. This conviction would make him an incredible Demon Slayer as long as his teachers were patient enough to deal with his goofy personality.
7 Zaheer Would Quickly Adapt To Demon Slayer’s Power System
The antagonist from the 3rd season of The Legend of Korra is celebrated by fans for his dynamic antagonism and impressive use of airbending. After watching Korra struggle to learn airbending under Tenzin for an entire season, fans had no choice but to be impressed with the way Zaheer adapted to it so quickly.
With this in mind, there should be no doubt that Zaheer would pick up a breathing technique relatively quickly after entering the world of Demon Slayer. The only question left to answer is whether Zaheer would join the ranks of the Demon Slayer Corps or join hands with Muzan Kibutsuji and wage war against mankind.
6 Asami Sato’s Work Ethic Is Worth More Than Her Technology
The world of Demon Slayer has hardly made space for any technological advancements to disrupt its swordsmanship-based power system. Tengen Uzui recently brought some shinobi tools into combat, but this is nothing like the sort of technology that Asami Sato used in combat while fighting alongside Avatar Korra.
Of course, fans would be wrong if they assumed that Asami needs technology to hold her own in combat. With enough training, Asami would rise to the top of the Demon Slayer Corps and prove once and for all that she's not to be trifled with.
5 Tonraq Would Be Unstoppable If He Added A Breathing Technique To His List Of Skills
Korra's title invited many wanted and unwanted mentor figures, relegating Tonraq to the sidelines despite the fact that the two-share blood. The chief of the southern water tribe and father to Avatar Korra is often overlooked when surveying the original characters introduced in The Legend of Korra.
Despite all this, if Tonraq were ever given the chance to shine in the world of Demon Slayer, he would prove to be one of the most formidable members of the Demon Slayer Corps that ever picked up a Nichirin blade.
4 Suyin Beifong’s Flexible Personality Would Be Welcomed By The Demon Slayer Corps
The autonomous city-state of Zaofu would be nothing without its flexible founder Suyin Beifong. The leader, dancer, metalbender, and sister proved to be one of the most reliable and well-trained characters in The Legend of Korra, despite having a relatively shady past.
Suyin's bevy of skills serves as proof of her ability to learn new abilities. If she were ever asked to master a breathing technique and raise a blade against Muzan Kibutsuji in order to save Zaofu, fans can be certain that she would do so without hesitating.
3 Lin Beifong’s Grit Would Be An Asset To The Demon Slayer Corps
The Demon Slayer Corps is hardly picky when accepting applicants. Sanemi and Genya prove this to be the case when they act as villains dressed in hero garb throughout Koyoharu Gotouge's Demon Slayer manga.
Lin Beifong is no villain, but she refuses to approach her heroic work with a smile on her face. Fortunately, her work ethic is enough to prove her value to the Demon Slayer Corps, meaning she can hold on to her grouchy attitude as long as she wants to.
2 The Lieutenant Holds His Own Against The Avatar
Amon's lieutenant often gets overlooked when looking at Korra's rogue's gallery. The electrified kali stick-wielding menace wasn't even given a name, but fans will still recognize his mustachioed face whenever they return to TLoK.
The Lieutenant fills an important role in the Avatar mythos. ATLA set a high standard for side characters who can keep up with benders without the need to master any bending techniques. In sum, Amon's right-hand man is privy to skills that would transfer into the world of Demon Slayer with ease.
1 Tenzin Is Wise Enough To Survive In Any World
The man who was asked to carry on the traditions of the air nomads after Avatar Aang managed to do so with a tact and style that few characters could match. On top of this, when Tenzin was forced to put his bending on display against the Red Lotus, he held his own and cemented his name on the list of the most powerful characters in the Avatar Mythos.
As one of the strongest benders in the world of Avatar, it should come as no surprise when Tenzin makes the most of this hypothetical crossover with the Demon Slayer mythos.
