A young person suffering with breathing difficulties on a Dorset beach sparked an emergency service callout.
Crews from Portland Bill Coastguard, Solent Coastguard and South Western Ambulance Service rushed to Smallmouth Beach in Weymouth in aid of the young person.
The person was taken into the care of paramedics and later taken to Dorset County Hospital for further treatment.
A spokesperson for Portland Bill Coastguards Rescue Team said: “The team was tasked by Solent Coastguard to assist South Western Ambulance Service paramedics with a young casualty with breathing difficulties on Smallmouth Beach.
“On arrival the casualty was already in the care of Paramedics, to be taken to DCH for further treatment. With no further assistance required by the CRT, the team stood down.”
