NEW DELHI: The administration of National Institute of Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases on Wednesday decided that the institute will remain closed from September 8 to 10 in view of the G20 Summit in the city.
Officials said that since OPD services will remain closed on September 7 on account of Janmashtami, it was decided to keep all OPDs open on September 9. An order by the administrative officer stated that since the Central government offices in Delhi are closed for three days, starting September 8, in the wake of G20 Summit, the institute will observe these days as "holiday". The OPDs will be operational on Saturday as the institute cannot remain closed for more than 48 hours, said a senior administrative official. RML hospital has also decided to close the administrative section and classes. But patient care services will run as per normal routine.
