Amritsar, November 22 (Punjab Post Bureau) – Amritsar District IAP Women Cell in collaboration with Khalsa
College of Amritsar (KCA) organized “Free Physiotherapy Remedial Camp” for post chikungunya symptoms at KCA Physiotherapy Leavement. The camp was inaugurated by Dr Mehal Singh, Director KCA. The purpose of the camp is to conduct a remedial teaching session for patients suffering from post-chikungunya symptoms such as joint pain, muscle pain, swelling, breathing problems and fatigue.
The session included all patient assessments first performed through questionnaires and the protocol was planned based on symptoms. Patients from the college campus and nearby areas availed the free services at this camp.
The camp was supervised by Dr. Manu Vishist, Head State, Punjab IAP Women Celland Dr. Varinder Kaur, district coordinator, IAP Women Cell. Staff members Dr. Aman Navneet Kaur, Dr. Jobandeep Singh, Dr. Sandeep Pal, Dr. Chitvanjeet Kaur, Dr. Amanpreet Kaur, Dr. Kulwant Kaur, Dr. Baljeet Kaur, Dr. Mansi Tuli, Dr. Arpandeep Kaur was present in the camp.
Director Dr. Mehal Singh congratulated the head of Leavement of Physiotherapy Dr. Manu Vishist and other staff members of the Leavement for organizing this event.
