This no-cost workshop series for teens (ages 12-24) will focus on the relationship between stress and thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. There will be opportunities to connect and share with other teens through discussion and hands-on experiences. Teens who participate in this series will learn strategies to cope with stress and develop plans to incorporate self-care into their daily lives.

  • Sunday, June 5, 1:00pm-2:30pm: Exploring and managing the physiological reactions to stress. We will practice relaxation strategies, including breathing, movement, and mindfulness.
  • Sunday, June 12, 1:00pm-2:30pm: Understanding the relationship between thoughts and stress and learning ways to challenge negative thinking patterns. We will explore our thoughts through writing and art.
  • Sunday, June 19, 1:00pm-2:30pm: Learning about the connection between behavior and stress. We will identify self-care activities.
