Still hazy tonight and the smoky skies will continue tomorrow. However, a rainmaker rolling through the area during the afternoon will shove the smoke to the east giving better, not perfect, conditions. Now, Thursday brings the potential for more showers and storms, some of which could be strong or severe. The Storm Prediction Center has a Marginal Risk (Level 1 of 5) for severe storms on Thursday for much of the Tri-State, and a Slight Risk (2 of 5) for Friday

Thursday's storm timing looks possible in the morning and again into the evening. Nevertheless, alot of our Thursday forecast will be dry, partly cloudy, and hot and humid. Highs on Thursday will be into the upper 80s, but paired with humidity it will likely feel like the low 90s.

Friday will be another day of high heat and humidity with strong to severe weather too. We are looking at more complexes of storms, which bring the potential for damaging wind gusts, large hail and potential isolated tornadoes. The stormy weather could impact the Taylor Swift concert. Storms will persist into Saturday and the concert could be impacted again. Sunday brings another chance for storms. Weekend afternoon highs reach the mid to upper 80s.

An early look at the 4th of July shows only a slight chance for any weather weather. So, at the moment the fireworks displays look fine.
