Monroe County on Saturday reported 173 new cases of COVID-19. The 7-day rolling average of new cases is 175 new cases per day.
The COVID-19 7-day average positivity rate for the Finger Lakes stands at 2.77%. That is the highest infection rate of any region in the state.
Governor Andrew Cuomo said on Saturday that the statewide 7-day average positivity rate has dropped to 1.18%, the lowest since October 19. And he said that represents 40 straight days of decline in that number.
In terms of COVID-19 vaccinations, the percentage of all New Yorkers with at least one vaccine dose is 49.6%. The percentage of New Yorkers with the completed series is 41.3%.
In Monroe County, the number of people with at least one vaccine dose is 52.8%.
