Nevada on Saturday reported 302 additional confirmed COVID-19 case and 10 more deaths, increasing the state's pandemic totals increased to 302,918 cases and 5,236 deaths.
Meanwhile, seven-day rolling averages of daily new cases and daily deaths both dropped over the past two weeks, according to Johns Hopkins University data.
The average of daily new cases dropped from 451.9 new cases on March 11 to 276.6 on Thursday while the rolling average of daily deaths dropped from 11 to 9.3 during the same period.
The number of infections is thought to be far higher than reported because many people have not been tested, and studies suggest people can be infected with the virus without feeling sick.
