Visitor Information - Updated March 7, 2022

Please find Lima Memorial's visitation information below.

INPATIENT CARE – Non-COVID-19

In an effort to promote family-centered care, there are no restrictions on the number of visitors a patient may have, and there are no age requirements for visitors. Hospitalized patients may receive visitors from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.

COVID-19

Individuals who visit patients confirmed with having COVID-19 will be required to follow infectious disease protocol.

Lima Memorial Physicians and LMHS Outpatient Testing and Therapy

Patients may be accompanied by one individual to their appointment.

Surgical, Cardiac Catheterization & Interventional Radiology Procedures

Patients presenting for surgery, cardiac catheterization or interventional radiology procedures may have up to two visitors accompany them.

Oncology & Infusion Services

Patients may be accompanied by two visitors to see a provider. For infusion services, visitors are not permitted to accompany patients to the infusion area but may wait in the seventh floor waiting room if space allows.

Emergency Center Visitor Restrictions

One individual at a time will be permitted to accompany a patient receiving care in the Emergency Center. Two parents or guardians may accompany pediatric patients in the Emergency Center.

Clergy Visitation

Upon request of the patient, church clergy members may visit. Clergy will be required to follow all other visitor restrictions and policies, including universal masking and temperature checks. Clergy members are not free to indiscriminately visit other patients or go from room to room. If local clergy members have received requests to visit more than one patient from their congregation / parish, they will be required to have the name and approval from the patient for a visit. In this instance, the Administrator on Site or appropriate staff member will determine if any (NON-COVID-19) infection control cross contamination risks exist prior to approval of those type of visits. If you have any questions, please contact Pastoral Care Services at 419-998-4596.

Important Information Regarding Visitor Restrictions:

  • To ensure a safe environment, visitors must go directly to the patient’s room, wear a face covering at all times and maintain a physical distance of six feet from others.
  • The Administrator on Site (AOS) is the only person who can provide exceptions and clearance for visitors.
  • All visitors must obtain a visitor badge before entering and undergo a health screening. Visitors who are sick will not be permitted to enter the hospital.
