Event listing from Orland Park Area Chamber of Commerce: Wednesday, October 27 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM

For more than a year, our daily stress levels have been at an all-time high. We know that extended periods of stress can adversely impact physical function and affect nearly every organ system. Chronic stress has been linked to heart disease, muscle tension, gastrointestinal issues, memory loss, cognitive disfunction, and allergic reactions. Throughout the pandemic, otherwise healthy people have been reporting a multitude of outwardly unrelated symptoms: headaches, hair loss, upset stomachs, outbreaks of shingles, sleeplessness, flare-ups of autoimmune disorders, and even teeth fractures from jaw grinding.

In this webinar, licensed Acupuncturist David Derdiger, L.Ac., will share simple breathing exercises and self-massage techniques rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine that can move the brain from stress response into a state of calm.

After the presentation, the discussion will be open for a live Q&A.

***Even if you are unable to attend live on the time/date of the webinar, please complete your registration to be able to watch on-demand at your convenience. A copy of the presentation will be emailed to all who register.

If you have any trouble at all, please contact [email protected] and it will be our pleasure to assist!
