Are there mild or severe side effects, usually, when increasing fluoxetine from 20 to 40 mg?

Hi, mafuo!
If someone has side effects they're usually mild and resolve more quickly because your system is already partially adjusted to the medication, but you are doubling your dose so some side effects might be expected especially if you had them when you first started taking it.
If you do have any problems let your doctor know and you might be able to increase your dose more slowly.
