By Sagay Raj: A technical glitch compelled a Redbird training aircraft carrying a pilot and a trainee pilot to opt for an emergency landing on a farm field in Karnataka’s Belagavi.
The two pilots onboard sustained minor injuries and were taken to the Airforce hospital.

According to sources, the training aircraft, carrying a pilot and a trainee pilot, took off at 9:30 am from Sambra airport in Belagavi.
However, after facing a technical glitch mid-air, it landed on a farm field at Honnihala village in Belagavi.
It was a training aircraft for the trainers of the Flight Training Centre in Belagavi.

Airforce personnel, training school authorities, and fire tenders rushed to the spot as soon as they received the news.
