We are looking for an experienced Systems Engineer to join our team! The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience supporting medium to large networks; data center management; cloud infrastructure management; has worked with various networking tools and protocols; possesses a good understanding of network security and a desire to stay current with new technology solutions.Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining, configuring and monitoring cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, MS Azure, Office 365).
  • Managing, supporting and improving existing Linux systems and Windows systems.
  • Involved in the implementation of major subsystems.
  • Maintaining and developing standards and procedures.
  • Troubleshooting router, switch and wireless connectivity.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and RCA for security and Infrastructure events.
  • Using diagnostic tools to determine deficiencies.
  • Acknowledging and resolving user service requests utilizing the service request management system.
  • Contributing to the development of organizational goals and objectives.
  • Suggesting new ideas and solutions to problems.
  • Staying up to date with latest technology and best practice.
  • Attending technology relevant webinars and conferences.
  • Performing project leadership duties.
  • Performing other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or equivalent experience.
  • 4 -6 years of experience as a System Engineer or similar role.
  • Proven ability to provide automation solutions using PowerShell, Python.
  • Strong VMWare experience.
  • Strong prior scripting experience.
  • Cloud experience with AWS; experience with MS Azure, Office 365, is a plus.
  • Platform and OS experience: Linux, Windows Server 2012 - 2019, Windows 10, iOS.
  • Prior experience with Dell and Cisco hardware.
  • Strong experience with WAN/LAN technologies, legacy protocols, and networking techniques.
  • Experience with various networking components such as: Cisco equipment, NetApp, Palo Alto, ACLs, Firewalls, VPN, TLS, SMTP, DNS, DHCP.
  • Experience with remote access technology such as: Citrix, OWA, Cisco VPN, etc.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capable of multitasking and prioritizing in a fast-paced environment, effectively and efficiently.
  • Accountable for accomplishing tasks both independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong documentation skills.
  • Outstanding client service skills and ability to present ideas in user-friendly manner.
  • Highly self-motivated.
  • Strong attention to detail.
