If your Aadhaar card is not linked to your mobile number then please do it as soon as possible. This is essential because any information regarding COVID vaccination will only be sent to your mobile number that is linked to your Aadhaar number.

Modi government has already given orders to all states and union territories regarding vaccination drive. Government has made it mandatory to link mobile number with Aadhaar card for COVID vaccine. This means that if you have to get yourself vaccinated, then it will be compulsory to link your mobile number with your Aadhaar card. Only then can you get yourself registered for vaccination

Indian government has instructed all states to ask their citizens to get their Aadhaar cards linked with their mobile numbers, so that all information related to vaccination can be easily sent to them. If your Aadhaar card is already linked to your mobile number then you need not get it done again.

Once a unique health id is generated then that person's health records will be registered online. Then a person will not require to carry files and papers when going for any treatment. If he/she tells the doctor the unique health id then all information regarding his/her health will be available online.

If you want to get yourself vaccinated against COVID, then first you will have to get yourself registered. For this photo identity is a must. Only after registration for vaccination will you get the place and time details via sms. You will receive the second dose of vaccine after 14 days from the first dose. The person will be monitored for 28 days.

Once a person is vaccinated he will also receive an identity card with a QR code on his registered mobile number.

During registration and vaccination, for personal identity you can show any one of them - Aadhaar card, driving license, voter id card, pan card, passport, jobcard, pension record, mgnrega card, health bima smart card, bank or post office passbook, central or state government or public limited issued service id card.
