Clinical Research
In a broadest sense we explore the breathing pattern in humans, its dependence on external stimuli and its influence on cognitive function, autonomic nervous system and overall health. We have designed various breathing interaction systems and we are currently evaluating their efficiency in treating pulmonary, stress related and cardiovascular disorders.
We perform excessive research in processes of learning and memory formation, its both dependence on the respiratory cycle and the processes of synaptic plasticity that occur as a result. We have designed advanced algorithms to reduce stress and enable better control of ones internal emotional states using simple PLB conditioning. Currently we are designing methods for using PLB to interact with multimedia content such as Html, RSS feeds, images, video clips, audiobooks, music and so forth to enable most efficient learning of content and acquiring cognitive skills and behaviors.
